What to expect from Futureology Events:
Webinar Presentations are semi-interactive. There may be activities or tasks you are asked to complete as a part of the audience. Your camera's and audio will be turned off.
Workshops or Bootcamps are designed to be interactive. The audience will actively engage with the presenter. These are typically geared towards Students only - with the exception of our Parent Orientation!
Presentations are designed for a flow of information. There may be a poll or q&a portion for the audience. Your camera's and audio will be turned off.

FAQ's About Events:
Is this service for everyone (9th, 10th, 11th, 12th grade, middle school, and elementary school)?
Yes! Futureology's primary programming includes one-on-one services geared exclusively towards high school students. However, we host specific grade level oriented presentations throughout the year. Check back regularly to see which events are coming up. Our event calendar is planned 6 months in advance, however there are times we add events or partner with organizations to create more opportunities.
Does it cost money?
No, all of our services are at no cost to CUSD students.
Will I get a confirmation when I register for a group event?
Yes, you will be sent a confirmation immediately from our online appointment system to the email address you provided. It is important to list the most appropriate email. You will also get multiple email reminders before your scheduled activity.
Is there a phone number where you can be reached?
We are continually scheduled to meet with families or conducting group workshops therefore we are not available to be contacted via phone. The best way to contact us is through our email email@example.com.
How do I cancel my registration for a group workshop?
Please refer to your confirmation email and click on the “cancel or reschedule” link listed at the bottom. As a courtesy to the counselors and other students for one-on-one appointments, please cancel at least 48 hours in advance. If you cancel less than 48 hours prior to your one-on-one appointment, you may be forfeiting one of your future appointments for the year.
Do my parents need to be there (or does my child need to come)?
Our sessions are meant to support the student therefore if your student cannot attend you must reschedule. Students MUST be present for one-on-one appointments. Parents: if you have questions please join us for our webinar events (including our Parent Admissions Bootcamp) rather than taking up a one-on-one appointment without your student. Parents can also use the Ask A Counselor button on the homepage to ask time-sensitive questions and our team can respond appropriately.
When are you available?
We are available for one-on-one appointments during the academic school year, August through June, Monday - Friday from 10am - 8pm. Certain grade levels have priority during the school year so review our Scope of Services.
